WordPress Flickr Post Bar

WordPress 2.0 Users: Download the new and improved Flickr Photo Album plugin for WordPress. In addition to allowing you to easily add your Flickr photos to your blog posts (just like what this plugin does), it’s also a full fledge Flickr based photo album. Check it out!
This WordPress Flickr Post Bar plugin very simply allows you to easily insert your Flickr photos into your blog posts. Once installed, this plugin will display your most recent Flickr photos as thumbnails in a bar across the bottom of your WordPress post form. Clicking on the thumbnail of a photo you want to use will then automatically insert the proper HTML snippet into your blog post. This plugin was inspired by Flock’s TopBar, but takes it a little further by allowing you to search photos not only by username, but also by tags or a combination of both username and tags.
If you find this plugin useful, I would appreciate it if you left a note in the comments along with a link to your site.
Here’s a screenshot of this plugin in action:
Author: Joe Tan (joetan54@gmail.com)
License: GPL
Features:
- Search for photos based on Flickr user and / or tags without leaving the edit screen
- Photos are loaded in the background via iframe
- Click on a thumbnail to automatically insert it into your post
- You can have photos link to FAlbum instead of Flickr, if you have the plugin installed
- Photos are inserted into your cursor’s current position (IE and Firefox only)
Download the plugin: tantan_flickrPostbar.tar.gz or tantan_flickrPostBar.zip
WordPress 2.0 Users: Use the new Flickr Photo Album plugin.
Modification History:
- See the new Flickr Photo Album plugin for updates. This plugin will no longer be actively worked on.
- 0.5 - Jan 2 2006 — added support for WordPress 2.0. Added option to not load Flickr photos every time you load the edit/write post screen. Bonus feature: Firefox users can drag and drop thumbnails into their posts.
- 0.4 - Nov 26 2005 — added integration with the FAlbum plugin and general support for other Flickr plugins. Your photos now also appear on the “Pages” edit screen.
- 0.3 - Nov 2 2005 — bug fix and some small enhancements. Added a ‘upload’ button, which takes you to flickr’s upload screen. Photo’s are inserted into the cursor’s current position (IE, Firefox only), otherwise they are inserted at the very end.
- 0.2 - Oct 26 2005 — photos now come in via iframe to help speed load times
- 0.1 - Oct 25 2005 — posted
Installation:
- Unpack / unzip the archive
- Copy the entire “tantan” directory to your Wordpress plugins directory. Your wordpress plugins directory should be something like [WORDPRESS DIR]/wp-content/plugins.
Note: If you already have a tantan directory from one of my previous plugins, you can safely overwrite any existing files from the previous plugin. Make sure you backup your existing tantan directory just in case something goes wrong! - Go into your Wordpress admin, click on the “Plugins” tab, and then activate “WP Flickr Post Bar”.
- Click on the “Options” tab, and click the “Flickr Post Bar” subtab to bring up the options screen.
- Enter your Flickr settings, and any other settings you want to configure. Save your settings.
- You’re done! Now click on the “Write” tab, and you should see your Flickr photos. Click on a photo, and a HTML snippet for that photo will appear in the post’s textarea. Cool!
Known Issues:
- FAlbum integration only works if “Friendly URLs” are disabled. I’m looking into a work around for this issue.
- If you have a WYSIWYG edit plugin installed, this plugin will probably not work.
- If you are getting “SAFE MODE” or “PEAR” errors, open up the file
lib.phpFlickr.php, delete the entire line 39 and remove the “//” from line 42 so that it looks like this:ini_set("include_path", substr(__FILE__, 0, strrpos(__FILE__, "/")) . "/PEAR" . $path_delimiter . ini_get("include_path")); - Please check the Flickr group if you are having problems with this plugin. Chances are somebody else encountered it before and a solution was posted to the forum.
This is plugin is done in my free time, so I can’t really gaurantee any kind of support if the plugin doesnt work with your setup. However, if you are having problems with the plugin, I will do my best to help you get it up and running. Please post your help and support requests to this Flickr group, along with any error messages and steps on how to reproduce the problem. This makes it easier for me to keep track and respond to issues. Thanks!

Hey man totally cool plugin  I installed it went really smooth(except for one warning
“Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/arncredd/public_html/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/tant an/lib.phpFlickr.php on line 593″ ). The images appear on the write page but when I click on them it does not insert the code.
Cool Plugin. But some Photos in the Bar are shown doubled.
Version 0.2 is perfect, Absolutely no probs at all great work keep it up
Great plugin, does almost exactly what I wanted. Only thing is that it would be good to get the square thumbnail photos into the page, and not just the ones in the original shape.
Max:
I’ll add that to the next release. In the meantime, you can add this feature yourself… it’s pretty simple. Just open up the file post-bar-admin.html in the tantan directory and insert this line of code before line 60:
<option value=”Square” <?= ($tantan_fpbSize==’Square’ ? ’selected’ : ”)?>>Square</option>
i setted up your plugin. it worked!!! good plug-in. but i want notes on photos. can you help me? thanks a lot.
This nice tool is now listed in the Great Flickr tools collection
Awesome plugin! I just set it up on my blog and I love it. I’ve been looking for something like this for a long time. Thanks a million!
using it and loving it. i post tons of photos from flickr and it makes life SO MUCH EASIER. thanks for making it! great interface, easy to setup, easy to use. simply awesome.
I just set up your plugin, and it works really slick. It would be great, in the future, if you had an option to customize the template. I like to put special shadow tags around my images and adding them automatically (without hacking up your code) would be awesome. Good work!
I installed this on my site and get this message in the flickr bar.
Warning: main(/home/foo/foo.ws/wp-content/plugins/tantan/lib.flickrBa dge.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/foo/foo.ws/wp-content/plugins/tantan/tantan_flickrPost Bar_iframe.php on line 2

Am I missing some code or do I have the dirs wrong?
wow!so cool~
fine!
I just downloaded the plugin. It looks like it will be very helpful.
Thanks for a wonderful plugin
Sadly it doesn’t work too good with Opera. There it doesn’t “work” just by clicking, I have to save the image address and then past it in with the img-tag. And of course the address itself is only for the thumbnail…
Any suggestion on how to fix this??
Hi,
I installed the plugin but am getting this error:
Warning: main(): open_basedir restriction in effect. File(/usr/share/pear/PEAR.php) is not within the allowed path(s): (/home/httpd/vhosts/elifoner.com/httpdocs:/tmp) in /home/httpd/vhosts/elifoner.com/httpdocs/wp-content/plugins/ tantan/PEAR/HTTP/Request.php on line 46
Warning: main(PEAR.php): failed to open stream: Operation not permitted in /home/httpd/vhosts/elifoner.com/httpdocs/wp-content/plugins/ tantan/PEAR/HTTP/Request.php on line 46
Any ideas?!
Thanks for the help in advance!
Eli
Wonderful plugin. I’ve noticed that you have it set up so the photos link to the falbum pages on your blog. Is this possible for a lowly user like me? I’d like to be able to post via flickr bar, but have it link not to the flickr page, but the falbum page on my blog. Thanks!
This plugin is AMAZING! I use Flickr as my exclusive image host, as many people do, and this saves a bunch of time!
Jason, you’ll need to edit the file post-bar-form.html and on line 43, change
“< ?=$photo['photoUrl'];?>”
to something like
“/your/path/photos/< ?=$photo['id'];?>”
That should do the trick.
Very nicely done. I used to build a utility to allow WordPress users to post their pictures on their blog via WordPress, and this is much better.
Good work.
I love the plugin!
After installing this plug-in I get the following error in the Flickr Window on the WRITE POST page:
Warning: main(): SAFE MODE Restriction in effect. The script whose uid is 834 is not allowed to access /usr/local/lib/php/PEAR.php owned by uid 0 in /var/www/thusgaard.com/jakob/wp-content/plugins/tantan/PEAR/ HTTP/Request.php on line 46
Warning: main(PEAR.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /var/www/thusgaard.com/jakob/wp-content/plugins/tantan/PEAR/ HTTP/Request.php on line 46
Any idea what to do next?
/Jakob
Thanks for the great work. !
you said - “Click on the “Options” tab, and click the “Flickr Post Bar” subtab to bring up the options screen”. I copied entire files in tantan folder into wp-content/plugins.. but when I saw that it had been activated, I went to Options tab - never see any “Flickr Post Bar” subtab
can you please correct me if i make any mistake? it will be appreciated.
It gives me that error in Write Post instead of Flick Bar.

Does someone know how to fix it?
After installing the plugin there is not options subpage that appears and when you write a post you recieve this:
The Flickr API returned error code #3: Parameterless searches have been disabled. Please use flickr.photos.getRecent instead.
It appears that the plugin needs an update.
Wonderful Job. This will make it so much easier for me to teach young artists how to put their portfolios online with flickr+wordpress. fyi: my installation of .3 went smoothly (WP1.5.2)…One Request Please!! Could you design the plug-in so that flickr photos are also available when editing pages? When editing posts it works great, but in firefox and safari on Mac OS X it does not show up when editing “Pages.” Keep up the great work. You should setup a little paypal tipjar for this work….thanks again!
This Plugin is great. My only issue is cosmetic.
I use the Tiger Style Administration plugin (http://www.orderedlist.com/) and when i go to post the Flickr photo control scrolls all the way to the side of the page (unlike the other controsl inthe screen)
Hi, wanted to let you know - it looks like it works well because if I click to activate it, it would say “deactivate” - weird. I need to deactivate it in opposite - that’s to activate it.
When I went to write tab, i saw that flickfr keeps on loading though there is no photo - I put “0″ on flickr setting but still keeps on loading. How to resolve it?
I wonder where I have to put photos in order for flickr to retrieve from?
Many thanks!
Hi,
Why does not the block “Flickr Photos” in pages “Write Post” using UTF-8? I can’t do the tag search with Chinese words.
Thx.
Hi - great plugin. I may well shift all my image hosting to Flickr now, and use the plugin to make posting them easier.
One question - is there any way I can get private photos to display? Currently the plugin only shows my public photos. I guess this might be something to do with the api key?
Hi,
Can you test “wp flickr post bar” and a WYSIWYG editor “ChenPress” if they can work well together?
http://groups.google.com/group/ChenPress
Thx.
Just installed the flickr post bar - works great! Thanks!
I am also getting:
I see a number of people have had the same problem, but no answers on here.
Can you help?
Tod
i get this error message:
Fatal error: Cannot redeclare tantan_fpbformdisplay() (previously declared in C:\webroot\blog\wp-content\plugins\tantan\tantan_flickrPostB ar.php:46) in C:\webroot\blog\wp-content\plugins\tantan\tantan_flickrPostB ar.php on line 58
any ideas? i cant configure the plugin because
i get this message instead
Very nice, and simple too.
Thanks for sharing.
Great plugin. Works OK for me but I get the following error at the top of the iframe which causes the buttons to disappear off the bottom:
Warning: Missing argument 1 for http_request() in /usr/local/lib/php/HTTP/Request.php on line 209
WordPress Flickr Post Bar
In my usual spirit of “If it’s not broken, tweak it until it is”, I installed a spellcheck plugin, which disappointingly didn’t work, and this one, which works fairly well:
WordPress Flickr Post Bar
and allows quick insertio…
I installed the plugin, and I do NOT get safemode errors because my host doesn’t inflict safemode on us. But on the write page only the area for your plugin flashes about twice per second and no photos ever load. My default settings are to have all photos private except to friends and family. I currently only have three photos. Even after 20 minutes no photos load (I have broadband).
Hey! I have setup this plugin for my WP,but when after I actived It ,it can’t Work So , In the “Write Page” It just Dispay nothing and Disable Under the”Flickr Photos”!The Same Question With ‘mee I guess’ just Says ,How Can I Get it Work?
Thanks for a great plugin!! ♥
Great plugin…just what I was looking for.
thanks

Excellent plugin. Worked like a charm. Thank you!
I’m getting a similar error message as Samir (11/13 comment) upon configuration:
Fatal error: Cannot redeclare tantan_fpbformdisplay() (previously declared in c:\program files\easyphp1-8\wordpress\wp-content\plugins\tantan\tantan_ flickrPostBar.php:46) in c:\program files\easyphp1-8\wordpress\wp-content\plugins\tantan\tantan_ flickrPostBar.php on line 37
I’m looking forward to using this plugin - sounds cool! …would be willing to help with debugging if you’d like, but will probably need additional assistance.
Nice tool, works as a charm. Maybe you could at the title html-tag, so that we get a tooltip popup with images title.
Thank you very much, fantastic idea. No problems installing it, works very well, easy to set-up. Just what I needed for a blog with a group of Spanish friends who want to do photos but have no clue about blogs or internet type things. Top marks for usability.
This plugin is amazing! Thanks soooo much!
Thanks Joe- great plugin. Really easy to install and very user friendly.
Joe,
I am speechless! … the coolest, easiest set-up I have ever experienced! Kudos of the utmost to you!!!
If you can add the ability to get the different sizes from within the “Write Post” page by clicking the actual intended image, you will get 3 thumbs up!
Joe,
I’m back with a question. Seems after playing with Flickr Post Bar that you can’t use any of the plugin html editors with it. I’m using the Xinha4WP editor and the only way to insert an image from the post bar is to go into raw html mode. I’ve tried in on both Safari & Firefox, and even tried it with the Windows IE and Firefox versions. None of them allowed me to simply click to have the image inserted in the text editor.
Am I doing something wrong? Do you use any specific WYSIWYG plugin for WordPress?
Great plug-in! Can’t get it to work with FAlbum though. URL root for FAlbum is /photos/ and it uses friendly URLs. I set up flickr post bar to use FAlbum plug-in for destination, but all I get when I click on a pic inside a post is this:
Error: fail: 1 - Photo not found
Section: fa_showPhoto -> $xpath
The pic points to :
/photos/show/recent/photo/$PHOTOID
while it should point to :
/photos/show/recent/page/1/photo//
(example:
http://www .monblogue.net/photos/show/recent/page/1/photo/turkey/
)
any idea of how to fix this?
Unlike the 100’s of others, I cannot seem to get the plugin to work. I am using the K2 theme and Firefox 1.5.
When I click on an image, nothing happens. I can drag and drop from the image and I get a URL and description, in text, on separate lines. But it is not formatted with an IMG tag. I cannot get it to work at all in IE.
I pulled up the Javascript console in Firefox. I get this message each time I click on a photo.
Error: tantan_onClick is not defined
Source File: http://www.nyquistcapital.com/wp-content/plugins/tantan/tant an_flickrPostBar_iframe.php?action=load&size=Large&k ey=&linkDest=flickr&linkDestValue=&user=aschmitt &tags=&maxPhotos=20
Line: 1
Seems like this is a fire and forget plugin, not sure why I am having trouble. Any ideas?
I don’t know if this is possible, but it would be outstanding if the actual IMG tag pointed at the cache created by the FALBUM plugin to help increase load times and reduce Flickr hits. If the photo was not in the cache, then it would go hit Flickr. I imagine the bulk of the work would be in the FAlbum plugin.
BTW, my problem above was fixed. The source file was missing a line feed.
Brilliant plugin. Really brilliant.
With regards to FAlbum integration, I can report having the identical problem as Guillaume (Nov 30th). I’m using Flickr Post Bar 0.4, FAlbum 0.5.6, WordPress 1.5.2
Yeah, there’s an issue with the latest release of FAlbum.. it should work if friendly urls are disabled for the plugin. not ideal I know, and I’ll see if I can find a workaround….
Thanks for sharing this plug-in.
I am also having a problem with this plugin with Firefox 1.5. It worked before I upgraded, but now I am having the same problem as Andrew.
John: I just posted a minor update which should fix that Javascript problem.
Awesome plugin! Worked on the first try! Thanks so much for making it available!
Thanks for the awesome plugin. So easy to use. Works better then any other flickr+wordpress plugin I have found.
hello, i dont know why, why its not work while im click to the flickr photo ? the html doesnt appear into my post ?
Hi Joe!
I’ve followed the install instructions and clicked to activate, set my options, and then went to write a post. The “flickr photos” area comes up and then just keeps “loading” (browser flickers like crazy trying to load something in and modem is very active). However, no pictures appear. I let it go for 10 minutes and the same thing continued. Please help. I’d really like to utilize this feature…
I’m finding similar trouble as commented by JOS on Nov. 9:
“When I went to write tab, i saw that flickfr keeps on loading though there is no photo - I put “0? on flickr setting but still keeps on loading.”
Lucky for me your Plug-In WORKS!!! fresh out-of-the-gate!
I absolutely adore seeing the thumbs in the Admin post edit view. Since i don’t bother with any Admin Themes whatsover to cause more slowdowns, this was a nice bonus to add to WP. I really believe in this idea so thanks for the plug-in again, it certainly DOES like everyone states makes inserting the flickr pic a breeze and it’s Lightning Quick!!
I have one minor peeve though, can you show an example .css code to create some nice little frames to go around the picks?
This is absolutely The Slickest Plugin i’ve ever installed. i have it on my sister’s blog but just might put it on mine. Right now I FTP to my website and then copy old TypePad HTML that I really like into my post. Then edit the old TypePad HTML to reflect the correct data.
One thing - I’m not getting the post to wrap around the image. You can see what I mean at http://winchesterfamilyhome.com/Journal vs http://www.hopalog.com
I’m sure this is a simply HTML issue, but I wonder if it is addressed somewhere in the plugin. I looked in the FlickrPost Bar options, but saw nothing there (though I lvoe the different size options). Any ideas? I might poke around the php and see what I can figure out. Or maybe it is css?
hmm. same problem as joseph. activated the plugin.. did everything as described. but it just keeps on loading and refreshing the iframe… but no photos do appear.
bad, as i need this plugin so very urgent ;-/
ok. i´ve found the solution.
your photos on flickr have to be PUBLIC. i repeat, they have to be PUBLIC. otherwise the photos wont show up in the interface.
could this be corrected maybe?
Michael & Joe,
That would make sense that the photos have to be public b/c I have a mix of both public and private. Is there a string of code that can be placed in the plugin to only utilize “public” photos??
Good idea there Michael!
more plugins with wordpress
…
Could you update your plugin so that someone posting in WordPress 2.0, with Visual Rich Editing turned on, can insert a photo? Thank you for coding a tremendous plugin!
Quicknote: I havn’t tested this plugin with WordPress 2.0 yet, but I’ll release an update in the new year to ensure compatibility with the new WYSIWYG editor
Joe
hi I really Love this Plugin. but it doesnt seem to work with wordpress 2.0. When I go to my Write Area the Plugin keeps saying Loading and keeps refreshing?????
Hope it gets solved soon
Joe
I suspect not everyone need to use the Post Bar every time they write/edit a post. Loading it everytime you are in the Editor can be frustrating especially on slow network connection days, more so if all you wanted to do is correct a small typographical error.
I suggest adding a simple “Launch” button (or something like Flock’s Flickr Topbar) for user to decide if they want to load the Post Bar to use or not. I don’t know if grabbing the thumbnails eat into our Flickr monthly bandwidth quota but having a Launch button will cut down on general bandwidth wastage too.
Thank you for this otherwise absolutely fantastic plugin and do keep up the good work!
As noted in the modification history, I’ve updated the plugin to work with WordPress 2.0 now. Please do let me know if you run into any problems with using this plugin and WordPress 2.0. Thanks!
Hi! Working perfectly with Wordpress 2.0 here.
Just two humble wishes for your next release. Is it possible to specify to have or not have a border around pictures and a “v space” and “h space” option on pictures that’s inserted?
Thank’s for a great plugin!!
Thanks a lot for this new version, it’s just what I wanted - and the FAlbum integration works like a charm for me. Grand, and loads of thanks!
Amazing plugin. Great, great work.
Hi, is it possible to set “border=0″ as default?
Very interesting plugin indeed, but I’ve found a singular problem:
I recently installed WordPress Flickr Post Bar and it worked magically, until I used it together with Picture Frame (http://www.paulchiu.net/projects/picture-frame).
Thing is, when I try to enable Picture Frame (i.e. I tag a picture with frame=”yes”) for a picture that’s been included through WordPress Flickr Post Bar, via FAlbum it doesn’t work: all that happens, is that clicking my picture opens a static flickr image, when it’s supposed to open the image through FAlbum. This works perfectly when I’m not using said Picture Frame-related tag, though.
I know this might be something you’re not even remotely interested in, but I thought I’d just chip in with some fresh troubleshooting material for you, come the new year.
If you should/would like to/can do something about this, please let me know.
Hi thanks for Upgrading it to Wordpress 2.0 Compatibility.
One small issue the option Orignal doesnt seem to work in wp 2.0
I have a small suggestion to make.
Could you put a extra option like a drop down box to load Small, Medium, Large pictures.(so when I reload the FLickr post bar I get to put large Pics etc). Since some of my pictures are very small So i need to use the Large picture option. (but I dont want to use them for my regualar picures since they are to huge).
thanks a lot again
Jacob
is there any way to link a thumbnail to the static image url? thanks.
Hi Joe,
I get this error using the API key:
The Flickr API returned error code #3: Parameterless searches have been disabled. Please use flickr.photos.getRecent instead.
The funny thing is that it was working yesterday with my Flickr username. Now it doesn’t work either with my Flickr name or API key.
I don’t know how to fix it… thanks for your help!
I get this error when I enter just my Flickr user name:
“The Flickr API returned error code #1: User not found”
I’m 100% positive I’ve entered my Flickr ID correctly.
I’ve got a problem, i would like to install the both plugin flick, one for public site, the other for the admin. But the both plugin directory has got the same name. So “WordPress Flickr Post Bar” doesn’t work. What can i do ?
Great! It’s a useful plugin for me, thanx!
But I get some trouble.
When I click the thumbnail, it links to the picture on Flickr, not insert the proper HTML snippet into blog post. (IE6)
When I use firfox 1.5, it looks normal.
Works great! Is there any way to center the pictures or increase the size?
Also, for those of you getting the error:
The Flickr API returned error code #3: Parameterless searches have been disabled.
Simply go to your plugins and click on DETAILS to go enter your username… then it should work.
Thanks for this marvelous piece of software! My life is now much easier
It’s a useful plugin for me
thanx!
^_______^
Thank you for this plugin, Joe. It makes photo posting so very convenient.
Were you aware that Post Bar doesn’t work nicely with WP Tiger Administration at
http://orderedlist.com/wordpress-plugins/wp-tiger-administ ration/ ? Have a look: the label “Flickr Photos” is pushed all the way to the right margin, and you can’t get to the photos.
WP-Tiger is a very usable Admin theme. I’d love to be able to use Post Bar with it. Thanks again!
Wow! What a great plug-in! Thanks so much for writing this. I love it - very handy. I have mentioned it on my Red Instead blog (the pingback is just above)
You say in the updates list above: “0.3 - Nov 2 2005 — bug fix and some small enhancements. Added a ‘upload’ button, which takes you to flickr’s upload screen. Photo’s are inserted into the cursor’s current position (IE, Firefox only), otherwise they are inserted at the very end.”
Just wanted to let you know that my setup inserts the image at the very beginning of the post, even though I have my cursor in the middle somewhere. I am using IE and WordPress 1.5.2. It’s not hard to cut and paste it into the right spot but thought I’d better let you know. If you know of a way to fix this then please let me know. Otherwise I will manage!
I gave props to you for this fine work. Have installed it flawlessly thanks to your guide and am using it. Thank you very much for the efforts, I have not a single complaint about it!
i installed the plugin and everything worked well until i clicked write post button.
it kept on saying “loading’ button with click if nothing happens at below.
can u help?
This plugin is exactly what I was looking for! Thank you very much!
Great plugin
Still having problems when I click on images in a post, I get a 404 error no matter what the setting in the admin/options are set to.
Any advice?
I just found a quirk with Flickr Post Bar and a particular PHP option.
If you have either short_open_tag set to Off in either the master php.ini or in a .htaccess file, then the plugin wonks Wordpress and leaves it unusable. The PHP direct variable output feature is used a lot in the code, so the easiest fix it to create a .htaccess file in the root of the blog (not the plugin) with
php_flag short_open_tag on
in it.
Sounds perfect - but GoDaddy doesn’t have curl installed for PHP. Doh!
oops. Sorry about that - had both Flickr Post bar and Reports pages open in tabs. Entered the comment into the wrong tab. Sorry!
After a couple errors it seems to work OK. Great idea. I look forward to using it.
As mentioned above, the error code #3 is resolved by entering your Flickr user name in the plugin config.
Error code #1 means you put in the WRONG user name. Joe Tan has made a link in the plugin config that gives you your real Flickr user name, not your email login.
Thanks Joe for your great work!
Great plugin - just installed and it’s working great! Kudos.
Phil
Hi Great plugin, but when I drag a picture from the bar to my page they always show at 75×75 pixels even though they are set to large in the options.
I also have FAlbum installed which has a setting of 75×75 pixels for my photo gallery thumbnails - is there some conflict here??
Is there any way to link a thumb to the direct image on flickr?
Thanks.
Another awesome plugin! Thanks!
Great plugin, thank you!
Just what I was looking for. This one is yet another great tool for Wordpress. Every time I dload these plugins for WP I feel shame for not being skilled enough to give something back to Wordpress community.
Fantastic plug-in — Wordpress needs to definitely adapt this into their next version.
Thank you! This is a really great plugin!
I’m getting this:

Hey, great work! My only problem so far is the lack of support for Markdown. For those of you that are interested, I have documented the necessary code changes to insert Markdown rather than HTML on my blog, the post can be found at http://www.premagination.com/2006/03/22/wordpress-flickr-pos t-bar-and-markdown/.
(Full disclosure: I have no financial interest in my blog nor the topics discussed there.)

Hi Joe, thanks for your great plugin. I modified it for my needs and added Lightbox and the appropriate FlickrSet of every image as link targets.
So even the plugin is deprecated and not longer worked on I hope you can accept further enhancements and additions for it.
If anyone finds it useful it can be downloaded from http://www.saweso.com/space/tantan_flickrPostBar_mod.zip
