Facebook Photos plugin for WordPress

This WordPress plugin provides easy access to your Facebook photos by allowing you to easily post them to your blog. After you have linked the plugin to your Facebook account, photos you upload to Facebook will automatically show up in a convenient “Photos” tab in your WordPress powered blog (see screenshot below). You can choose to use either small, medium, or large sized versions of your photos. This plugin uses the recently released Facebook Developers Platform.

Features:

  • Automatically retrieves photos and albums you upload into your Facebook. No need to upload twice.
  • Retrieve photos where you have been tagged by either yourself or your friends.
  • Allows you to easily blog your Facebook photos.
  • Choose from three different sizes: small, medium, or large
  • Notifies you via the WordPress admin dashboard of when new updates are available (optional).

Requirements:
Both PHP 5.0 and WordPress 2.1 are required in order for this plugin to work. This plugin will not work on the WordPress.com hosted service (that is, you’ll need to run your own WordPress installation).

Installation:

  1. Download and unzip the plugin.
  2. Upload the entire “tantan” directory to the WordPress wp-content/plugins directory.
  3. Login to your WordPress admin, click “Plugins”, and then activate the “Facebook Photos” plugin.
  4. Click “Options”, and click “Facebook” to bring up the options screen.
  5. Follow the directions given on that page to link the plugin to your Facebook account.
  6. You’re done! You should now see a “Photos” tab when you create new posts or pages. Just click on a photo and select a size (small, medium, large) to insert it into your post.

    I am running wordpress 2.3.2 - the plugin activates fine but there are two issues:

    1) The actual pictures do not display when writing the post (they display as plain blue!)

    2) After I select an image, the code is added to the post but then nothing is displayed - all thats displayed is “.” where the image should be.

    PLEASE HELP!

    This is a great plug in however it comes for PHP 4.
