Here’s a bunch of quick and dirty scripts and plugins I’ve written for my own personal use, which you may or may not find useful. If you look around on this site, you may even see some of these scripts and plugins in action. I haven’t tested these scripts on anything other than my own site, so they may require some code tweaking in order to work on your own site.

These scripts are all licensed under the GPL. That is, they’re free for you to use.

 

Amazon S3 plugin

Easily use and take advantage of Amazon’s S3 content delivery network for your own WordPress powered blog. Useful if you run a podcast, or write blog posts with a lot of images.

Facebook Photos plugin

With this plugin for WordPress, photos you upload to Facebook will automatically show up in a convenient “Photos” tab in your WordPress powered blog, which allows you to easily and quickly insert photos into your blog posts.

Google Analytics and Feedburner Reports plugin

Pull in your Google Analytics and Feedburner data right into your WordPress admin area. Adds a Reports tab which will display a 7 day summary with nice pretty graphs. Neat!

Flickr Photo Album plugin

This plugin allows you to display your Flickr photosets as albums on your WordPress site. This plugin also adds a new Photos tab to the admin post screen, which will allow you to easily insert a photo into your blog post with just a couple clicks.

Simple Spam Filter plugin

A really simple anti-spam plugin that acts as a “prefilter” by rejecting the really really obvious spam. Useful for blogs that gets a ton of comment spam. Download and installation instructions >

Other Scripts

• TanTanNoodles Theme
  I don’t know why you would, but you can download the TanTanNoodles theme for use on your own site.
• Google Analytics API
  A PHP class library used to programatically access Google Analytics reporting data.
• iTunes PHP Parser
  A simple PHP library that will parse your iTunes XML file.
• Format and wrap long lines in comments
  This WordPress plugin will insert white space into comments to break up really long words. This will help prevent really long “unwrapable” text from messing up your site’s layout.
• Flickr Post Bar plugin

This plugin displays your most recent Flickr photos across the bottom of the admin post screen, which then allows you to easily insert a photo into your blog post with just a click. Note: Use the updated Photo Album plugin above (which does the same thing) if you’re using WordPress 2.0+.

• Flickr DHTML Badge WordPress plugin
  A plugin version of the Flickr DHTML badge script. This plugin allows you to very easily display a rotating set of images from your Flickr account in your WordPress sidebar.
• Flickr DHTML Badge
  A Javascript & CSS only implementation of a Flickr animated badge, which just rotates in and out your most recent Flickr photos
