The Amazon S3 plugin for WordPress has been updated for WordPress 2.5 compatibility. This update adds an icon to the “Add media:” bar in the new edit screens, which gives you access to your Amazon S3 hosted file.

This release also adds support for European hosted buckets. Note that the plugin can’t create buckets in Europe, so you’ll need to create your bucket first with another tool if you want European buckets.

Go download the update from the plugin’s release page >

Does this release work on WPMU 1.3.3 and is it worth upgrading? We’re loving the version you did for us and it’s working like a charm so don’t want to mess up a good thing. Cheers.

    Hey Jason,

Yup it should work fine for WPMU… I did test this updated version with WPMU 1.3, so there shouldn’t be any problems.

There is a slight difference in the way the new WP admin generates image thumbnails, so I would imagine that the MU branch will also eventually use this new method. But for this updated version, I didn’t add any new features, so the version you have should work just fine :)
