Invites for Aviary

aviary.jpg I just got a beta invite to Aviary, a new suite of web-based application for “people who create”. At the moment I have access to Phoenix, which is their bitmap image editor. It’s no Photoshop killer by any means, but it certainly has potential. I already use Google Docs to share and collaborate on documents, and Mint for my finances, so it makes sense for other desktop based apps to also move online. Even Adobe is going to join the party sometime soon with an online edition of Photoshop (tho it’s already been a year since their announcement).

Anyways, check out their blog for some examples of what Aviary can do. They also gave me 5 invites to give away to friends, so I’ll give the first 5 to post a comment along with their favorite burger toppings an invite :)

(my favorite at the moment is blue cheese and bacon)

    Man, that’s awesome. I signed up for the beta as well, but have yet to get an invite. I’d love to check Aviary out if you’re willing to share!

    As for burger toppings… I’m a simple man: bacon, monterrey jack and cheddar cheese, topped with a little bit of mayo and mustard. Makes me hungry just thinking about it. :)
