Updated: Google Analytics for WordPress plugin (0.84)

Alright, for reals this time. After a couple dumb bug fixes, I think the WordPress Reports plugin should be working again for most people. I even tested the fix on more than one blog.

If you are not seeing any reporting data even after this update, you will need to reset your Google Analytics session. This basically means you’ll need to do a “change account” from the setup screen, and re-enter your login details.

Please download the update here and let me know if it works (fingers crossed!).

    Works like a charm now.

Joe, I thinking if is possible a stats for keywords, just like the “rising content”. A “rising keywords” stats. It’s the only stats missing in wordpress reports.

Anyway, thanks for the plugin and the update.

I’m getting this error this time: I don’t get any reports first, then I re-configure my account but it says (not saved) next to the Password section. Even if I can manage to choose the profile to check, I still don’t get any reports. You can see my e-mail with the comment administration page, if you contact me I can send you a screenshot.

By the way, the plugin got more and more reputation. It’s time to make it international, eh? Are you thinking to switch to a system including .po files? I can help with Turkish language.

Seems to be working fine on my blog again. The ‘Popular Sources
and a few other graphs seem a little skewed to me though. Can’t come up with any solid numbers to support this… but it’s probably a result of pulling results from Google Analytics new interface.

I tried to reset (several times, too) the Google Analytics session (clicked “Change account” from the setup screen and re-entered my login e-mail and password details).

Sadly, it didn’t work. I only see FeedBurner report. :(

Works absolutely great after resetting account details. Thanks Joe!

I had to reset my account details as well, but I went right from 0.82 to 0.84 and it worked like a charm! Thanks for the fix!

I would like to see an adjustable timeframe (rather than the default of 7 days) for both FeedBurner and Google Analytics, but I’m pretty happy with the way things are now, too :-) Saves me quite a bit of time logging into FB and GA all the time! I appreciate the work you’ve put into it.

I just noticed that the %change from the previous week no longer works. It always shows 0% for me. I can provide a screenshot if that would be any help. No biggie, I’m just glad to have the stats back.

Russell, yeah there are a few kinks that need to get worked out.

Joe, what do you think about my problem? I still can’t generate any reports even though I adjust the settings perfectly.

I’m having no issues with the excellent wordpress reports plugin.

The widget however, does not display any posts in my blog. Any ideas what might be causing this?

I still love this plug-in, but I have noticed one big change from .82 to .84. Mainly, the “Inbound Sources” chart is now using stats only from “Referring Sites” instead of “All Traffic Sources”. I noticed this because “google.com (organic)” has not been listed in the “Inbound Sources” chart since installing .84.

Using “Referring Sites” is helpful, but used to really like seeing what the make up of all my incoming sources was in tat chart. Is there a way to go back to using “All Traffic Sources” as the source for this chart? Either that or having two charts: one for “Referring Sites” and one for “Search Engines”.

As always, thank you for the work you do on this and other plug-ins, Joe.

I solved my problem, thanks anyway.

No, it’s not working for me - I get this:
“It looks like either your Google Analytics profile is new and doesn’t have any reporting data yet, or your session has timed out. If you know you have reporting data, click the change account button in the Setup tab to redo the configuration” despite updating, together with a whole load of these:
“Warning: array_combine() [function.array-combine]: Both parameters should have an equal number of elements in {path deleted by RHM}/lib.googleanalytics.php on line 443″

It’s not working on WP2.3, will you fix it?

  17. # Laundro Sep 25, 2007

Also does not work for us in 2.3.

  18. # Jahmac Sep 27, 2007

I am seeing a blank reports page in wordpress 2.3. I’ve resetted my sessions and reinstalled to no avail. When will there be a update of this plugin.

  19. # bhlogiston Nov 23, 2007

I like the plugin well. For me is he same thing for me like the comments before. no reports in wp 2.3.1 - any suggestions to handle this? - btw - the same plugin works fine for feedburner reports. thx so much to solve the problem. ;)

Has this plugin been abandoned? It hasn’t worked for a while now.
Any updates on the horizon? I used to like it…
