Updated: Spam Filter (0.3) and Photo Album (0.92)

I’ve updated two of my WordPress plugins, primarily fixing a couple long outstanding issues.

There’s a minor update to the Simple Spam Filter plugin for WordPress, which fixes an issue where quotes might get improperly escaped. For something that just blocks “easy” to identify spam comments, it has worked out remarkably well. On this blog, it has already blocked and rejected 42,000 spams. If you’re looking for something to help get your spam back down to a somewhat more manageable level, give this plugin a shot.

For the Flickr Photo Album plugin for WordPress, I have (finally) updated it to work with WordPress 2.2. I apologize for the long delay in getting this release out. I had actually fixed the bug and it was checked into SVN (source control), but I had neglected to push out a new release. Anyways, if you had updated to WordPress 2.2, then you’ll probably want to get this update.

    Hi I have made this plugin international, so anyone can translate i into his /hers language. I would very much like to have these add ons incorporated into the plugin. Any thing i can do to help this underway?

    Hi, thanks for a fantastic plugin but it was rather tedious to translate…and now with this new version one has to start all over again. Would it be possible to have Simon’s adaptions incorporated? Or any other multilingual solution, soon?
