I don’t think there’s really any need to rehash what went down last week, but suffice to say it’s been a pretty hard 7 days. In Friday nite study, we went through Luke 4:14-30, studying Jesus’ opening remarks for his upcoming ministry. One thing that became immediately clear as we went through that passage was just how much Cho needed to hear the Good News.

“The Spirit of the Lord is on me,
because he has anointed me
to preach good news to the poor.
He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners
and recovery of sight for the blind,
to release the oppressed,
to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor. “

If he only knew the freedom provided by the Gospel. And then I read about all the madness going on in the Middle East, and realize that really… the whole world desperately needs to know this freedom.
