Street Fighter II: Hyper Edition

streetfighter.gif Woot! Street Fighter II: Hyper Edition was just released for XBox Live Arcade on the XBox 360. This was a game that I used to play for hours on end back in the day on my SNES. At one point, I even got good enough such that I could beat the game on the hardest difficulty setting (for real). Unfortunately, that is no longer the case… because I can’t even beat the 4th character on the easiest difficulty. Very frustrating. It’s like my left thumb got stupidier, and can’t do the moves anymore. But I think it’s the controllers fault. If there was a way to hook up the old SNES controller to the XBox 360, then I’d be set.

Did I mention it’s really really hot right now? Hopefully it’ll be a bit cooler in Toronto, since I’ll be there over the weekend, but I doubt it.

    I think its the controllers as well. I dont think they handle the half and quarter circles all that well. I was only half decent with Ryu and Chun-Li (playing the original SFII) - Have a safe trip to Toronto, see ya when you get back.
