Podcasting Experiment

podcast.png This blog really wouldn’t be Web 2.0 compliant if it didn’t have a podcast. Well, after this update, it still wouldn’t be Web 2.0 compliant yet (there’s no AJAX), but I guess it’s one step closer towards that goal. Primariily though, it’s another way to put a WordPress podcasting plugin I wrote to the test.

So other than my grandma (who I actually visited last week in VanBC), I doubt many people would want to hear me ramble on about random things that I find interesting. And I think my real life voice is more mumbling than anything, so that would also make for a pretty dull podcast. So here’s the master plan, a bit of a podcasting experiment. Instead of posting audio recordings of me talking, I’ll just post free (and legal) music that I think is worth listening to. There’s a tonne of free music in MP3 format out there, so I dont think I should have too much trouble digging up good music for your listening pleasure.

So have at it, and let me know what y’all think :) And if you want to subscribe, just copy and paste this link into your favorite podcasting application and get updated automatically when new music get’s posted. I recommend iTunes.

Speaking of VanBC, here are some more food pics. The yellow stuff if you don’t know, is called the king of fruits (and has a bit of a ‘fragrance’).
