Downloaded the new Passion: Everything Glorious album from iTunes, and I have to say it is pretty awesome. Live music is great. Favorite tracks: Awesome is the Lord Most High (Chris Tomlin), You Never Let Go (Matt Redman), I Stand Amazed (Chris Tomlin), and the title track Everything Glorious (David Crowder). Unfortunately, the first track on iTunes is corrupt and skips pretty bad about halfway through the song. If you read the comments on iTunes, a lot of other people are having this problem as well. So hopefully iTunes will get this fixed soon. On the bright side, Apple did issue a refund for the entire album after I sent in a support ticket. Very cool, since I expected them to just issue me a download credit for that song. So I basically got the album for free. Except the first track skips :p

On a somewhat related note of getting stuff for free, I don’t get how people can continue to recommend AllOfMP3 as a legitimate alternative music download service. Legally, they might be in the clear because of a Russian copyright technicality. But morally, it is really is no different than purchasing stolen goods from some random dealer. Yeah you paid money for it, so you satisfied your “don’t steal stuff” conscious, but all that did is made the dealer you bought it from richer. You might as well as cut out the middle man and download your music for free from Kazaa or a Bittorrent site since none of the money you spend at AllOfMP3 goes back to the artist.

Anyways, back on topic… check out the new Passion album. And if you decide to download it from iTunes, you should probably wait a couple days to let Apple fix the corrupted track.
