Well, it looks like Microsoft is getting a bunch of pretty bad press as of late. There’s a pretty nasty virus out there, which you can apparently catch just by viewing an “unsafe” web page. From what I understand, this virus doesn’t popup any “Click yes to continue” type alerts either, it’ll get installed silently without any user interactions. Yikes :-/ Please, for the good of the Internet, practice safe browsing and download Firefox. Now.

Then there’s the whole Office 2007 / Windows Vista delay. They were supposed to ship in time for the ever important 2006 holiday season, but it looks like they’re going to coming out next year, sometime in 2007. And now, just a few days after announcing the delay, heads are rolling at Microsoft.

I guess if you want all the nice fancy features of Windows Vista now, you could just avoid the delay and go get yourself a nice shiney MacBook Pro
