I live in NC, and both of the concerts anywhere near me sold out about three weeks ahead of time. Can't believe I missed this amazing trio. I am a long time fan of Shane and Shane, DCB,and have recently started listen to RSB. All amazing groups.

djchuang: The tickets are no where near the price of a large secular band. Tickets to the concerts in my area were $12.00.

Woot! Texas rocks!!!

Sorry I had to miss out on Shane & Shane and the David Crowder band...stupid work. It would have been awesome. I've heard of Hocus Pick, but I didn't know they were Canadian.

In Dallas, we have a Christian alternative rock station (www.897powerfm.com) and we have these music clubs that invite Christian bands to come play (www.thedoorclubs.com)...awesome. I love the feeling of worship with a crowd of strangers...a small glimpse of what heaven will be like, except we'll know everyone.

it's sorta amazing and ironic(?) that worship bands can now sell tickets and people pay similar rates as a rock concert.. not to say that they shouldn't be rightly compensated, but ain't it amazing.. perhaps there will be bootleg recordings the way U2 concerts have them, that'd be the next step of evolution, eh? :) Long as you don't charge or pay, I think the legal issues would be much less complicated. P2P file sharing makes it easy to share; and plenty of handy digital recording devices should make it easy to record.
