Flickr DHTML Badge

So over the long weekend, I wrote a mini-app for tantannoodles to display my most recent Flickr photos. It’s made up of Javascript and some CSS (also known as DHTML), and if it’s working properly, then you should be seeing thumbnail photos rotating in and out down the left rail of this site :) If you would like to use it for your own site, then you can download it (it’s open sourced), and copy and paste some HTML code to get it working on your own site. It works best with the Flickr photo sharing service, but you really could use any online photo gallery you wanted.

The source code and more info is here: Flickr DHTML Badge

I like the badge and had no idea there was a phpFlickr class until I saw this on your site. I found your site on google, but I can’t remember what I was searching for now. This inspired me to build the flickr slidr. You can see an example over at my site.

    Hi,
cool! i like your page and the stuff you develope and the way you help! thanks for the email support before. well, i use the tool now and i love it. one question left: the one on your page leads to your gallery. if i click on mine it will go to my flickr page. is there a easy way to change that?
keep it going. i will try your new tool soon and let you know how that went. does the ‘Flickr Post Bar’delete the Flickr DHTML Badge if i overwrite the folder?

    thanx for your effort!

    mike
