Scrubs Season One

I just got season one of Scrubs on DVD and I must say that Scrubs is probably one of the best half-hour TV show series I’ve seen in a long time. Zach Braff plays the lead character J.D., and the show revolves around him and his friends (Turk and Elliot) as first year medical interns.

Unlike some of the other shows out there in TV-land, Scrubs stands out by being well written, very smart, and thought provoking without being too serious. One episode deals with how J.D., Turk, and Elliot handle losing their first patient, even though they did everything they could. Of course being a sitcom, the humor is what ties it all together. J.D.: I know you dont really like me, but– Jordan: I don’t dislike you, I nothing you. Seriously, the humor is so quirky and off-the-wall, it’s one of the few shows that will make me ROTFLOL.

Check out Scrubs if you can catch it on TV (season 4 just finished, so there might be some reruns in the summer), or you can borrow the season 1 DVD from me if you get a chance :)

PS: I’m back in Vancouver for a week starting fri. Yay!
